What are the common signs of hearing loss?

Are you having to concentrate on hearing people when conversing in places with noisy backgrounds or group situations?

Why do we have hearing loss?
There are several factors that can lead to hearing loss, and depending on the cause, it may be a permanent or temporary condition.

Presbycusis (Age-related hearing loss)

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss

How do we diagnose hearing loss?
The best way to determine whether you have hearing loss is by visiting a hearing clinic for a hearing assessment.
Should you have a hearing loss, our clinician will provide a clear plan as to how your hearing loss will have to be managed.
Having hearing loss does not always mean you will need hearing aids. The management will differ depending on the degree and type of hearing loss the client has. Here are some of the plans we provide.
A referral to ENT for further investigation
Monitor hearing as it is not bad enough
